The second quarter of 2025 saw intriguing trends in the performance of top travel and local apps in Hungary. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps in this category.

MÁV+ showed a dynamic pattern in weekly downloads, beginning with around 23K in early April, experiencing a dip mid-quarter, and then climbing back to approximately 21.2K by the end of June.

Vonatinfó maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers starting at 8K in April and peaking at over 11K in early June. The app's active users demonstrated a fluctuating yet generally upward trend, reaching around 430K at the quarter's close.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at 3.8K and rising to over 9.2K by the end of June. Active users showed significant growth, from approximately 261K to nearly 385K, indicating a strong user engagement throughout the quarter.
